Merkaartor is developed with the GPL edition of the Qt library and is available under the GNU General Public License. Binaries below are also compiled with the open source edition of the same Qt library.
As is usual with free software, there is no guarantee these files will work, it is not even guaranteed they will not harm your system, although I’ve tried to double check everything (and they work for me).
These are statistics generated weekly from OSM history dumps. This is mostly to see what versions of Merkaartor are in use, but I pulled changeset and user per editor data as well.
All the localization is done via transifex.
Please, read the following text before you start translating into your language. The translations are not THAT easy. It’s necessary to check the context to see what’s being translated, as for example “Undo” once means “undo one action”, and once “the list of actions that can be undone”.
